The Digital Workplace Belgium group is an open, advertisement-free knowledge-sharing community for communication and digital workplace professionals. We meet in an informal, English-speaking setting to exchange real experiences, challenges, and practical ideas.

This is an on-site meeting in Brussels at Proximus. There is an hybrid/online stream too, if you like to join online instead.

Topics include:

  • Driving engagement through communications: our Proximus LumApps and hybrid events journey. Inge Van Wegens
    • We’ll share 5 years of LumApps at Proximus: why we chose it as our intranet, how we’re organised, and how we manage content and governance to drive engagement and spark social interaction. Next, we will look at how our large internal events have evolved—from pre‑COVID physical gatherings to fully virtual livestreams, and nowadays to hybrid formats that mix high‑quality streaming with a live audience. We’ll briefly explain why we go beyond Zoom or Teams, how tools like Slido and Clevercast boost interaction, and what AI subtitling adds. We’ll also touch on production options and the main challenges we’ve learned to manage, such as network load and streaming delay.
  • From complainer to campaigner’ KBC Belgium campaign. Nadja Kerkhofs & Ingrid Letellier
    • “From Complainer to Campaigner” is a powerful internal campaign at KBC Belgium that places authentic employee stories at the center of corporate culture, using strong visual storytelling and a well-orchestrated mix of channels. Its credibility is reinforced through honesty, vulnerability, leadership involvement, and the support of a highly authentic ex-employee as a public figure, applying an innovative approach of storylistening. Supported by clear metrics – 30% more reach and 61% engagement – the campaign proves measurable impact and sets the foundation for a lasting cultural effect.
  • Internal communication and employee engagement
  • Digital workplace strategy and governance
  • Intranet and content management
  • Collaboration and knowledge-sharing practices
  • AI use cases in communication and the workplace

A space to learn from peers, share what works, and connect with colleagues from across organisations.
