| Time | Agenda |
| 9:00 – 9:30 | Arrival & connection On site: Welcome coffee for all participants. Online: Teams meeting is open; participants are welcome to connect. |
| 9:30 – 9:40 | Welcome & introductions Welcome by Guy Van Leemput (ValueIntranet), Volker Grünauer (Advatera) and by Inge Vertriest and Kim Belie from CM, our hosts for today. This is followed by a short introduction of all participants. |
| 9:40 – 10:30 | Presentation & demo: CM, the road to a smarter digital workplace By Inge Vertriest and Kim Belie. Inge and Kim will present the evolution of internal communication and the intranet within CM (past, present and future). This will include a demo of the new and unified intranet of CM. As always, there will be plenty of opportunity for Q&A. |
| 10:30 – 11:00 | Internal Comms in the Age of AI AI was the central theme at the recent Brussels Digital Workplace Conference. In this meeting, the group will dive deeper into two specific areas: • Image production: What deepfake tools like OpenAI Sora 2 mean for our communications. How do we build trust inside the organisation, and what should be the rule for using AI images and videos inside of the organisation. • Currently many comms teams are simply experimenting with GenAI for content production, which is already a good step, but how do we move from being only users to real shapers of the future of work in our organisation? |
| 11:00 – 11:20 | Break |
| 11:20 – 12:00 | Group discussion: News management on the intranet In many organisations, publishing news articles is one of the primary activities on the intranet. In this open discussion, we will look into how the news publication and editorial process are managed, and collect best practices. The following aspects will be covered: • Centralised vs. decentralised publication of news • Translation of news in multilingual organisations • Editorial process • Reactions to news • Analytics |
| 12:00 – 12:30 | “My biggest challenge right now” – open discussion The open discussion continues! Participants have an opportunity to present a concrete intranet-related challenge that they are currently facing. The group will discuss, give advice, and suggest a practical way forward. Bring your topics along! |
| 12:30 | End of meeting & lunch End of the meeting; a sandwich lunch is offered to all on-site participants. |
