• 20 min: Social Media Campaign Insights Canadian Embassy in Berlin
  • Thilo will speak about the successes, challenges and lessons learned in regards to the social media presence of the Canadian Embassy in Berlin (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn). He will highlight one project in particular, namely the presence of Canada as a guest of honour at the Frankfurt Book Fair last fall. In this project related to the world’s largest book fair, the collaboration with several partner organizations and a large communications agency was of particular interest. With a focus on Twitter, his input will concentrate on the process involved in creating social media posts, approval process and addressing target groups. He will present some best practice examples from in-house and partner institutions.
