Corona virus information

Our highest priority is the safety and health of you, our members and participants, as well as our team.

While it is not currently possible for us to visit each other face-to-face, we should still get together, listen, share ideas and learn from each other. It is physical distancing, not social distancing. 

Staying connected is essential even in times of Corona. That is why we have intensified our activities with live online meetings and recorded sessions.

Advatera expert groups & member meetings

We expect many expert groups to be held face-to-face again later this year when the Corona situation calmed down, but all meetings in the near future will be held as online sessions.

Our Advatera expert group meetings are mainly regional gatherings of about 15 to 20 participants. With the exception of guest speakers, no travel is usually involved. Of course, the health and safety of you, our members and our team is our main concern and therefore face-to-face meetings can not take place currently. At all meetings later that year, when the Corona situation calmed down and when it is safe to meet face-to-face again, hygiene measures will be strengthened in accordance with the recommendations of AGES (Austrian Agency for Health), the Robert Koch Institute and the WHO.

Digital Leadership Forum 2020 is postponed

After careful consideration, we have decided to postpone the Digital Leadership Forum 2020, which was scheduled to take place on 16+17 March in Vienna, Austria.

The new date of the conference is 5th and 6th of October 2020. The very final decision on the date will be made, when the Corona situation calms down.

This is not an easy decision to communicate, because none of our events and meetings have been postponed in the last years. Also this year’s Digital Leadership Forum saw more registrations than in previous years. That is a decision with which we cannot meet all of your demands. But we take our duty of care towards you and our employees very seriously. Since participants from many countries are signed up, we consider the decision to postpone to be advisable and prudent.

Several speakers and attendees have advised us this week that they have been forced to cancel their plans to attend as they are restricted from traveling. Often because their companies have imposed a travel ban. So even if they would still like to participate, they are simply not allowed to do so. Also, many flights were cancelled by the airlines because of the reduction of their capacities.
